Hello! Glad to be back! Thank you so much for the comments. I’m so glad that you guys are still there and I’m popping on your reader too. Whew! Please keep sticking around. I’m so excited about this year! I think we all are destined for something great! I also believe whole heartedly that we are in “full control” of our destiny. We go as far as we try!!! So join me this year as I learn new things and see where it takes me. So about learning new things… to start the year I signed up for 2 classes. Maggie Holmes Basic Photography Class and an Carina Gardners Illustrator 101. Both started this week. Yikes! Luckily I took today off and was able to take both classes on my day off. My verdict so far??? Worth what I paid for!!! They are both amazing teachers! I have some Illustrator samples to show you….see below. Keep in mind i have never used Adobe Illustrator before. So far I’m loving it! But first I wanted to share some cards I made while I was MIA.
Talk to you guys again tomorrow!

Very cute cards! I love both. And awesome job on your illustrator work. I have a love hate relationship with Illustrator! Sometimes I love it, and sometimes it makes me so mad I could scream!

You’re in Maggie’s class that just started??? How did I not know this (or did we e-mail about this and I forgot)? I’m in it too! I was busy working on parts of the assignment last night and will be looking at the pics today. I am loving it so far and have learned a bunch about my camera already!
I can’t do the part of the assignment that has to be done during the day, since I don’t get home before dark, so I’m saving that for the weekend.
Great job on the new Illustrator stuff too. I have Adobe Illustrator, but still have no idea how to really use it. (Maybe for another day!)

Your sympathy card is just gorgeous. I love the white on kraft. I haven’t done that enough lately… thanks for the inspiration!
So… I’m loving your templates! I think you should keep ‘em coming…hint hint! lol! *hugs*

Great stuff! I love the sketches you created. I agree with Sarah, the templates could become a part of your “brand”. You can be a guest sketch designer among all the other things you are doing.

Love the cards you made. And those classes sounds like so much fun. I hope you’ll post more of your progress on your blog. I’d love to see what you’re learning. I am going to sign up for a class to learn PSE8 this year. I am hoping to add Scrapbooking to my “addiction” and would like to learn how to adjust and manipulate my photos a bit. =) Cards just isn’t enough. lol.

Awesome cards and glad you’re back!!! I know how that goes though, the priorities thing and what needs to come first. Whatever works for you I’m glad you’re still alive

Hey girl… so glad that you are back! I was gone for a while too and still trying hard to keep up! Your cards look great! Congrats on signing up for your classes. I hope to learn some new things myself this year! I dont know if you read all of my older posts. I know you mentioned seeing that I said something about having surgery. Just to recap… I found out right before Thanksgiving that I had cervical cancer. A week later I had a radical hysterectomy! It has been a wild time but I feel so blessed! God took care of me and it all has happened so fast that it is hard to believe it really happened! It has been amazing how quick it all went down and how quick I got better! God is good! Good to ‘talk’ to you again!

Hey Naomi! Good to see you blogging again!
I just signed up for the Unity KOTM, and I’d like you to get the refer-a-friend bonus since you are the one who first turned me onto Unity stamps.
If you’d like to do this, hit me up and I’ll give you my info for you to e-mail Unity with!
